Tutor (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable Academic Tutors to join our growing education team. Our students range from elementary to adult learners, including those preparing for AP courses and standardized exams. We are looking for tutors who can teach one or more of the following subjects:

AP Calculus

AP Computer Science

Key Responsibilities
-
Provide online high-quality 1:1 or small-group instruction in your subject area(s).

Assess students’ strengths, challenges, and learning goals.

Create clear lesson plans tailored to student needs.
Assign and review practice problems, writing tasks, or projects as appropriate. -
Track academic progress and collaborate with the student services team to communicate updates to parents/students.
Support students in building confidence, study skills, and long-term learning habits. -
Prepare students for quizzes, exams, AP tests, and school assignments.
Qualifications

Strong proficiency in the subject(s) you wish to teach; ability to explain concepts clearly.

Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees preferred.

Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly valued.

Excellent communication skills and patience working with diverse learners.

Familiarity with U.S. or Chinese K–12 standards and common school curricula.

Multilingual ability (especially for language tutors) is a plus.

Experience supporting English Language Learners (ELL) is a plus for English tutors
Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $35–80/hour (depending on experience and skills, and teaching subject & grade level)

Travel: 1 company-sponsored trip to China annually (worth about $4,000 per trip)
